Not the most easiest of answers, but their are a couple of ways of finding out.
When your playing with your new Puppy, chances are, he will bite your hands and fingers, and mouth your hands, this is probably playful dog being over excited.

A few more ways of finding out about your Puppies Aggression.
1. Boredom. If your Puppy is left alone for long periods, chances are, boredom, may lead to aggression. Try and counter act, by keeping him occupied, with toys, and midday walks, by a friend, or family member.
2. Physical Pain. Is your new Puppy in pain? Maybe hard if not impossible to know, but this could be the cause of your new Puppies aggression. If you believe your Puppy to be in pain, please visit or call your Veterinarian.
